Trek from Machame Hut to Shira Hut through moorland, and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you gain altitude.

Climb the Barranco Wall, a steep but short ascent to the top, where you’ll be greeted by stunning views. Then descend to Karanga Camp for the night.

Duration: 12-15 hours
Elevation Gain: 4,685m to 5,895m and back
Depart early to ascend to Uhuru Peak. Witness the breathtaking sunrise from the summit, then descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before heading back down to Mweka Camp.
Celebrate your achievement over dinner and relax at Mweka Camp.
