Today, you will trek to Barranco Camp, navigating steep hills and rocky passages. The route provides stunning views of the Mountain and can be challenging at times due to its steep gradient. You’ll also encounter the famous Barranco Wall, a nearly vertical climb that offers a thrilling challenge.
After reaching Barranco Camp, enjoy a well-deserved dinner and relax, soaking in the panoramic views of the area before resting for the night.

Today’s trek leads you to Barafu Camp, where you'll prepare for the summit attempt. The route will take you through a rocky terrain offering incredible views of the glaciers and the surrounding mountains. A leisurely day allows for proper acclimatization.
Enjoy an early dinner at Barafu Camp, and rest well to prepare for the summit challenge that awaits you.

Elevation Gain: 4,673m to 5,895m and then descent to 3,068m
Start your ascent to Uhuru Peak very early in the morning. The trek to the summit is physically demanding, but the thrill of reaching the highest point in Africa is unparalleled. After taking in the views and capturing memories at the summit, begin your descent back down to Mweka Camp.
Once at Mweka Camp, enjoy a celebratory dinner and reflect on your accomplishments under a starry sky.
