Serengeti National Park Safari
We’ll pick you up early in the morning from Moshi or Arusha, around 5:30–6:00 AM, and begin the drive toward the Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours, depending on the exact route and traffic, so we’ll have planned stops along the way to stretch your legs and grab refreshments. The road passes through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, giving you glimpses of the rolling highlands, Maasai villages, and grazing livestock—an authentic slice of northern Tanzania.
Upon entering the Serengeti, we’ll begin your first safari drive. Even though you’ve traveled a long distance, the park’s vast open plains will immediately captivate you. Here you have the chance to spot zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and if luck is on your side, lions resting in the shade or stalking prey. Birdlife is abundant, with Secretary birds, vultures, and lilac-breasted rollers adding splashes of color to the plains.
In the late afternoon, we’ll head to a nearby lodge or camp inside the park for check-in. Dinner will be served, and you can relax while recounting the day’s sightings. Staying inside or very close to the Serengeti allows you to start the next day early, maximizing your wildlife experience.
